Day 1

Tuesday, May 26

Come and join our adventure as we tour our Country’s most outstanding National Parks. We head West today enjoying the pleasant drive. Overnight in Lincoln, NE. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Day 2

Wednesday, May 27

Breakfast included. Still heading West today. Later today, the Colorado Rockies will come into view. Today, we will pick up our tour guide. Overnight in Stapleton (Denver), CO. Happy Hour is included tonight. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.

Day 3

Thursday, May 28

Breakfast included. Travel West through the Colorado Rockies; enjoy a rest stop in the world famous ski town of Vail with its wide variety of shops and restaurants. Then we continue our journey West to Glenwood Springs. A historic mining town with natural hot springs where you will have free time for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, enter Utah and follow the Colorado River through scenic Professor Valley and past Fisher Towers. This evening, you will enjoy a sunset Jet Boat ride on the mighty Colorado River through the spectacular Red Rock Canyons (included in tour). Dinner is included tonight. Overnight in Moab, UT for two nights.

Day 4

Friday, May 29

Breakfast included. This morning, we will take a short drive to Arches National Park. The tour offers easy access stops throughout the park. We will make our way to downtown Moab for shopping and lunch on your own. After lunch, we travel to Dead Horse Point State Park for one of the most spectacular views in the West. Dinner is included this evening. Overnight in Moab, UT.

Day 5

Saturday, May 30

Breakfast included. After breakfast, we will travel to Green River for a rest stop before we journey through the San Rafael Swell. We then arrive at Capitol Reef National Park for sightseeing including; pioneer buildings and ancient Native American petroglyphs. Enjoy a picnic lunch (included) under ancient cottonwood trees. In the afternoon, you are in for an amazing drive along Scenic Hwy 12, designated as an “All American Road” the best of the Scenic Byways. We will pass through Grand Staircase National Monument and climb over Boulder Mountain before reaching Bryce Canyon. Dinner and evening at your leisure. Overnight in Bryce Canyon, UT.

Day 6

Sunday, May 31

Breakfast included. After breakfast, we will enjoy touring Bryce Canyon National Park with its unique red rock formations known as hoodoos. Then we take a short drive to Zion National Park, where there will be plenty of time for sightseeing. Lunch is included. In the afternoon, we will travel to Springdale, a charming gateway town to Zion, for our night stay. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Day 7

Monday, June 1

Breakfast included. We will enter into Arizona and climb the Kaibab Plateau. We will then enter Grand Canyon National Park - North Rim for sightseeing and spectacular views of this geologic wonder. There will be time to explore the Visitors Center and have lunch on your own at Grand Canyon Lodge. This afternoon, we will depart the Grand Canyon with a stop at Jacob Lake Inn for a rest stop. Late afternoon, we will arrive in Page for our night stay. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 8

Tuesday, June 2

Breakfast is included. We will travel East to Lake Powell, an amazing man-made reservoir in the desert with a shoreline 50 miles longer than the entire West coast! We will stop at the Glen Canyon Dam Visitors Center, then enter the Navajo Nation and arrive at historic Goulding’s Lodge for a Navajo Taco lunch, which is included. We will meet with a Navajo guide and board a comfortable 4WD vehicle for touring of Monument Valley. We will travel through the valley and we will visit some famous locations as we learn more about the Navajo traditions and way of life. This afternoon, we will enter Colorado and have our overnight stay in Cortez, CO. Dinner is included this evening.

Day 9

Wednesday, June 3

Breakfast included. We will explore Mesa Verde National Park this morning. One of the major centers for the ancient pueblo culture in this area. We will travel to Durango for some free time to explore and lunch at your leisure. We will make our stop for the night in Alamosa, CO. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Day 10

Thursday, June 4

Breakfast included. This morning, we depart Alamosa and head for Colorado Springs. We must say good-bye to our tour guide today. Overnight in Colorado Springs. Happy Hour is included tonight. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Day 11

Friday, June 5

Breakfast included. Depart Colorado Springs this morning and say good-bye to the West as we begin our journey home. Overnight in Lincoln, NE. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Day 12

Saturday, June 6

Breakfast included. As we head home today, sit back, enjoy your new found friends, and all the beautiful memories and wonders of Utah’s National Parks. We will be back by late afternoon.
