You will not want to miss this wonderful experience in the heart of one of the largest Amish Settlements. Come along as we experience the daily lives of the Amish.
Come along as we head East to one of the largest Amish settlements! Lunch is included today. We will stay in Schaumburg, IL tonight. Happy Hour included this evening. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.
After breakfast (included in tour), we will travel to Shipshewana, IN. We will arrive late morning for our two night stay. Lunch on your own. We will have a step-on guide join us for a tour of the area. This afternoon, we will see the Owl Toy Craft, Newbury Carriage - Amish buggy shop tour, Yoder’s Rug Weaving, and Carolyn’s Kitchen - jams and jellies. This evening, we will have an Amish in-home dinner at the Carriage House (included in tour). You will also enjoy bingo with the Amish family, prized included!
After breakfast (included in tour) our local guide will meet us for a full day of touring. Today, we will see Rise n’ Roll samples included, B Honey - interactive teaching on bees and honey, Teaberry Wood Products - shop tour, lunch is included with a cooking class at Yoder’s Homestyle Cooking - recipe book given as a gift, Silver Star Leather - interactive teaching of belt making, and we will end the day with a Amish Farm Tour. Dinner included this evening at the hotel.
Breakfast included this morning. After we check out of the hotel, we will meet our guide for some morning touring. We will see Lambright Country Chimes, Yoder’s Meat and Cheese, and Yoder’s Popcorn. We will then go to the Shipshewana Flea Market - Midwest’s largest flea market. Lunch on your own here. We will travel back to Schaumburg, IL, where we will stay the night. Dinner is included tonight. Evening at your leisure.
Breakfast is included. We must head home today after experiencing the life of the Amish in Shipshewana. We will be home by late afternoon.
