Our good times begin today with the opportunity to become acquainted with all your new friends on the coach. With our usual stops today, we will arrive in Springfield, IL in the late afternoon. Happy hour included tonight. Dinner and evening at your leisure.

Breakfast included this morning. We have a leisurely drive today as we enjoy springtime in the south. Our home for three nights is at the Drury Inn of New Orleans, only four blocks from the French Quarter. This beautiful hotel is in a restored New Orleans landmark, the 1917 Cumberland Telegraph Building. Dinner and evening at your leisure. Happy Hour included tonight.

After breakfast this morning (included in tour) we will have a local guide join us for a tour of the fascinating city of New Orleans. Discover all the fascinating sights and sounds of this unique city. A special lunch is planned at the world famous “Court of Two Sisters” (included in tour). The rest of the afternoon and evening are at your leisure. Happy Hour is included tonight.

Breakfast included this morning. Today is a free day to enjoy this exciting city! Tonight we will enjoy an evening meal at the New Orleans Cooking School (included in tour).

After breakfast this morning (included) we will have a short drive this morning to Lafayette, LA our destination for two nights at the Drury Inn. Our first stop today will be at the Oak Alley Plantation, built in 1839. This national historic landmark is famous for its alley of 28 live Oak trees. Lunch will be included here. After lunch, we will meet our local guide and have a tour of the Atchafalaya Swamp. The boat will ride under the I-10 Swamp Expressway which took 10 years to build and is an engineering feat. We will see swamp vegetation and wildlife. Some of the time alligators are seen. A very special event is planned for you this evening. Glenn’s Motorcoach Tours has planned a “Lagniappe” (Cajun word for something extra). Dinner with entertainment included. Enjoy a “Fais Do-Do” featuring delicious Cajun food and live Cajun music and dancing.

Breakfast included this morning. Traveling south today to visit the Tabasco Factory, the only one in the world. Then visit Avery Island Jungle, located on the top of a salt mine. There are many types of plants and wildlife in the gardens. Alligators are usually seen here too. This afternoon, a stop will be made at St. Martinville (hear the Evangeline story). Happy Hour is included tonight. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.

After breakfast this morning (included) we will be traveling to Horn Lake, MS for our two night stay. Dinner and evening are at your leisure.

After breakfast this morning (included) we will have a beautiful drive today to Memphis, TN. Lunch will be included today. This afternoon, we will be touring Graceland the 15,000 square-foot mansion of the late “King of Rock and Roll.” Dinner and evening at your leisure.
