Apostle & Madeline Island

Our get-a-way begins today. We will make a stop at the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center. Then onto Ashland, WI, where we will be staying the next three nights at the AmericInn. Dinner is included tonight in Ashland. Evening at your leisure.

Breakfast included. We will depart for Bayfield, where you can explore and shop. Lunch is on your own. This afternoon, we will enjoy a wonderful cruise around the Apostle Islands. See lighthouses, fascinating shoreline formation and shipwrecks as you cruise the many islands. Dinner is included in Bayfield after the cruise. Evening is at your leisure.

Breakfast included. We will start the morning with a tour of Bayfield with a step-on guide. Learn the history and see the sights of this town. Stops include; Apostle Islands National Lakeshore Headquarters and an orchard stop. Next leave your cares behind as the coach boards the ferry. You will be in the hands of an Island expert as the fascinating history and beauty of Madeline Island unfolds. A stop for a delicious lunch (included) is part of your tour observing Island life. There will be several stops with the guide on the island. Dinner on your own. This evening, we will experience a show in an all-canvas 800 seat, state-of-the-art theater - Big Top Chautauqua. Their dramatic historical musicals connect area visitors to places and events of the past.

Breakfast included. Say good-bye to this enchanting spot, as all good things must come to an end, but we hope you cherish the memories of this tour for a long time to come. We will be home by late afternoon.
